Résumé

The small syngnathid fish Minyichthys myersi (Herald & Randall, 1972) was first reported from the Society Islands by name only. It is now documented by the collection of a second specimen from Moorea. Another small syngnathid, Micrognathus andersonii (Bleeker, 1858), is also reported for the Society Islands by a specimen collected from the reef flat of Tahiti.
