Résumé

Enneapterygius pusillus Rüppell, 1835 was first described from the Red Sea (Eritrea). In the Sultanate of Oman, it was known only from southern shores (Arabian Sea), and from the Arabian Gulf. The present paper reports the first record of this small tripterygiid in Oman Sea (Gulf of Oman), with a specimen photographed in Al-Fahal Island, close to Muscat, Oman. This is the second triplefin species to be recorded in Oman Sea, after Helcogramma steinitzi Clark, 1979.
