Résumé

New collection of Egyptian sole, Solea aegyptiaca Chabanaud, 1927, from the Gulf of Suez (Red Sea, Egypt) confirm that this species is an anti-Lessepsian species. Migrations of teleostean fishes through the Suez Canal are discussed.
