Résumé

Two specimens (268-665 mm standard length) of the grouper Epinephelus marginatus (Lowe, 1834) were collected from Salalah fish market, Sultanate of Oman. These specimens confirm the presence of the species in Oman and represent the northernmost record for the species in the Indian Ocean.
