In this study a total of 131 chub, Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758) (Cyprinidae), living in Kapulukaya dam lake (Ankara, Turkey) were investigated. The growth features; age composition, age-length, age-weight and length-weight relationship and von Bertalanffy growth equations were calculated for both sexes separately. In addition, five different condition indices that was proposed by different researchers were applied and compared.
