Résumé

A single specimen of Diplodus omanensis Bauchot & Bianchi, 1984 and of Pagellus affinis Boulenger, 1888 were collected from Karachi fish market, presumably originating from the western coast of Pakistan, in the Arabian Sea. These specimens represent the first records of these two sparid species from the Pakistani waters.
