Résumé

We have studied the von Bertalanffy’s growth parameters in Chondrostoma polylepis populations from three reservoirs of the Tagus River Basin (western Spain). The differences found are related to some environmental variables: mean depth (m), chlorophyll a concentrations (mg/m3) and the residence time of the water mass (days). The results are discussed in the light of the ecological processes that occur in aquatic ecosystems.
