Résumé

Two specimens of Phenacoscorpius megalops Fowler, 1938, collected at 481 m depth off Malo Island, Vanuatu, represent the first records of the species in the Southern Hemisphere. All previous records were restricted to the northwestern and northern Pacific Ocean.
