Résumé

The present study demonstrated that stripped sperm of normal perch could be successfully frozen with hatching rate of fresh testicular sperm of neomales and stripped sperm of normal males were 42.5 and 49.3% at 12x105 spermatozoa per egg. In terms of neomale sperm, squeezing testes for collection of testicular sperm is not recommended for cryopreservation due to low sperm velocity, motility and hatching rate. Both sperm velocity and motility showed a significant decrease in the fresh testicular sperm of neomales (134.6 μm s-1 and 12.8%) compared to the stripped sperm of normal perch (203.2 μms-1 and 94.7%) at 10 sec post activation.
