First record of Tortonese’s goby, Pomatoschistus tortonesei, from Tunisia

Abstract
The gobiid Pomatoschistus tortonesei Miller, 1968, which geographic distribution was restricted to Marsala lagoon (Western Sicily, Italy) and Farawa lagoon (Libya), was found for the first time in six Tunisian lagoons. The meristic counts and morphometric measurements of P. tortonesei are determined on the basis of 27 specimens.
