Abstract

In April 2017, some individuals of the vanishing silhouette goby Silhouettea evanida were identified and photographed in the estuary of the Sembilang River, South Sumatra province, Indonesia. There is no previous report on the occurrence of Silhouettea evanidain Indonesia, and this observation constitutes a first record for the country.
