Abstract

Twenty-two specimens of pencil cardinal Epigonus denticulatus were collected by bottom trawl (364-639 m) in the Cantabrian Sea, Spain. These records represent a new northern limit for the distribution of E. denticulatus in the eastern North Atlantic.
